1. Acceptance of This User Service Agreement
This User Service Agreement constitutes a legally binding agreement between you and LOKTV regarding your access to and use of the LOKTV mobile application, related software, interfaces, features, content presentation tools, account functions, subscription functions, customer support channels, and other services made available through or in connection with LOKTV. By downloading, installing, accessing, browsing, registering for, subscribing to, or otherwise using LOKTV, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement.
If you do not agree to this Agreement, you must not access or use LOKTV. Your continued use of LOKTV after any update to this Agreement constitutes your acceptance of the updated Agreement. Where required by applicable law or platform policy, we may provide additional notice or request additional consent. This Agreement applies to all users globally, except where mandatory local law provides non-waivable rights that cannot be limited by contract.
2. Service Description
LOKTV is a streaming entertainment application designed to provide users with access to selected drama series, television-style entertainment, viewing management tools, watch history, personal watchlist functions, and membership-related viewing features. LOKTV may include Korean drama, American series, serialized entertainment, and other audiovisual titles, subject to availability, licensing, technical performance, regional restrictions, and applicable service rules.
The service is currently operated on a membership subscription basis. Membership may include advertising removal and supported content download features, where such features are available within the application and permitted by applicable rights, technical conditions, device capacity, and regional availability. LOKTV does not guarantee that any specific title, category, language, subtitle option, audio option, episode, or download function will remain available at all times.
3. Eligibility and Account Responsibility
You represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement and that your use of LOKTV is lawful in the jurisdiction where you access the service. If you use LOKTV on behalf of another person or entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that person or entity to this Agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials, device access, Apple ID settings, subscription settings, and any activity occurring through your account or device. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information where account or support information is requested, and to promptly update such information when necessary. LOKTV shall not be liable for losses arising from unauthorized account activity caused by your failure to safeguard credentials, devices, or platform account access.
4. License to Use the App
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, LOKTV grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the application on compatible devices that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment use. This license is provided for use of the application as made available through authorized distribution channels and in accordance with applicable platform rules.
No ownership interest in LOKTV, its software, design, code, interface, trademarks, visual identity, content organization, metadata, recommendation logic, or related intellectual property is transferred to you. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by LOKTV and its licensors, content providers, service providers, and applicable rights holders.
5. Membership Subscription Services
LOKTV offers membership subscription services. Subscription options, billing periods, prices, renewal terms, and available membership benefits may be displayed in the application or through the applicable app marketplace. By purchasing a subscription, you authorize the applicable platform or payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the subscription amount, taxes where applicable, and recurring renewal charges in accordance with the terms presented at the time of purchase.
Subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled in accordance with the applicable platform rules before the end of the then-current billing period. You are responsible for reviewing the subscription details, including product name, duration, price, renewal conditions, and cancellation method, before confirming purchase. LOKTV does not directly control Apple ID billing settings, platform payment processing, refund eligibility, or cancellation mechanics where purchases are made through an app marketplace.
You may manage or cancel an auto-renewable subscription through your Apple ID account settings or the applicable platform subscription management page. Deleting the app does not necessarily cancel an active subscription.
6. Membership Benefits and Limitations
Membership benefits may include advertising removal and supported content download features. Such benefits are provided subject to service availability, content rights, device compatibility, network conditions, regional availability, security measures, and applicable law. Downloaded content, where available, is intended only for personal viewing within the application environment and may be subject to expiration, playback limits, device limits, territory limits, or withdrawal if the relevant content is no longer available.
LOKTV may modify, suspend, replace, or discontinue particular membership features if required by operational needs, rights-holder requirements, platform rules, security concerns, or legal obligations. Where a material change affects an active paid subscription, LOKTV will handle such change in accordance with applicable law and platform policy.
7. Content Availability and Viewing Conditions
All content made available through LOKTV is subject to license scope, distribution rights, applicable restrictions, technical delivery conditions, and editorial scheduling. LOKTV may add, remove, reorder, suspend, replace, or update content without guaranteeing permanent availability of any title. Availability may differ by country or region, device model, operating system version, network environment, language settings, or account status.
You acknowledge that streaming performance may be affected by factors beyond LOKTV's reasonable control, including internet connection quality, device performance, platform service interruptions, content delivery network conditions, operating system changes, and third-party service availability. LOKTV will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain service stability but does not warrant uninterrupted, errorless, or delayless access.
8. User Conduct
You agree to use LOKTV only for lawful, personal, and appropriate purposes. You shall not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, compromise its security, infringe the rights of others, or use the application in a way that violates this Agreement, applicable law, platform policies, or the rights of LOKTV, its licensors, or other users.
You shall not copy, reproduce, redistribute, publicly perform, publicly display, sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the application or any content except as expressly permitted. You shall not circumvent, disable, impair, or interfere with rights management, access control, geographic control, advertising systems, playback rules, subscription verification, or security features. You shall not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, scrape, index, harvest, or create derivative works from the application, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by mandatory law. You shall not use bots, scripts, automated tools, emulators, abnormal traffic methods, or unauthorized technical measures to access, test, overload, manipulate, or disrupt LOKTV. You shall not upload, transmit, or introduce malware, harmful code, abusive requests, fraudulent data, or materials that may damage, disable, or impair the service.
9. Intellectual Property Rights
LOKTV, including its application structure, interface design, brand elements, icons, visual presentation, software, compilations, metadata arrangement, service logic, and documentation, is protected by copyright, trademark, trade dress, trade secret, unfair competition, and other intellectual property laws. Content accessible through LOKTV may be owned by LOKTV, its affiliates, licensors, studios, distributors, or other third-party rights holders.
You acknowledge and agree that your access to content is a limited viewing permission and does not grant ownership, copyright, distribution rights, public performance rights, adaptation rights, or any other proprietary interest. Any unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, recording, extraction, public presentation, or commercial use may result in termination of access and may subject you to civil or criminal liability pursuant to applicable law.
10. User Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, comments, error reports, feature requests, ratings, reviews, or other feedback regarding LOKTV, you grant LOKTV a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable, transferable, royalty-paid license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and incorporate such feedback for product improvement, support, marketing, quality assurance, legal compliance, and business development purposes, without obligation to provide compensation or attribution.
You represent that your feedback does not infringe or misappropriate any third-party right and does not contain confidential information that you are not authorized to disclose.
11. Privacy and Data Practices
Your use of LOKTV may involve the processing of information related to account access, device identifiers, application usage, subscription status, support communications, diagnostics, crash reports, and other service-related data. Such practices are governed by the LOKTV Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into this Agreement. The Privacy Policy will describe applicable rights, categories of information, purposes of processing, retention practices, and user choices, including rights that may be available to California residents under the CCPA where applicable.
By using LOKTV, you acknowledge that service operation may require data processing for authentication, subscription verification, security, fraud prevention, content delivery, technical maintenance, analytics, customer support, and compliance with applicable legal obligations.
12. Third-Party Services and Platform Rules
LOKTV may depend on third-party services, including app marketplaces, payment processors, analytics providers, cloud infrastructure, content delivery networks, customer support tools, operating systems, and device-level functions. Your use of such third-party services may be subject to separate terms, policies, and technical requirements. LOKTV is not responsible for third-party failures, billing platform errors, operating system limitations, marketplace decisions, or network provider conduct beyond its reasonable control.
Where LOKTV is distributed through Apple platforms, your use of the app may also be subject to Apple Media Services terms, App Store rules, Apple ID settings, and applicable subscription management mechanisms. In the event of conflict between this Agreement and mandatory marketplace rules, the marketplace rules may control solely to the extent required for that marketplace transaction.
13. Suspension and Termination
LOKTV may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the service if we reasonably believe that you have violated this Agreement, infringed intellectual property rights, abused service functionality, engaged in fraudulent or harmful activity, created security risk, violated applicable law, or caused potential liability to LOKTV, its users, licensors, platforms, or service providers.
You may stop using LOKTV at any time. Termination of app use does not automatically cancel an active subscription purchased through an app marketplace. You remain responsible for managing subscription cancellation through the applicable platform. Sections concerning intellectual property, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, dispute resolution, and other provisions that by their nature should survive shall survive termination.
14. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LOKTV is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. LOKTV disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, quiet enjoyment, availability, accuracy, and reliability.
LOKTV does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, errorless, compatible with all devices, available in all regions, or that any particular content, subtitle, audio track, download function, recommendation, viewing quality, or membership feature will remain available. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you to the extent prohibited by law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LOKTV, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, service providers, licensors, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, including loss of data, loss of enjoyment, service interruption, device malfunction, lost profits, reputational harm, or unauthorized access, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use LOKTV, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, LOKTV's aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service or this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid for LOKTV membership during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater. Nothing in this Agreement excludes liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LOKTV, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, service providers, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your violation of this Agreement, misuse of the service, infringement of third-party rights, unlawful conduct, fraudulent activity, unauthorized account use, or submission of materials or feedback that violates the rights of any person or entity.
LOKTV reserves the right to assume exclusive defense and control of any matter subject to indemnification, in which case you agree to cooperate with such defense. You may not settle any claim in a manner that imposes obligation, admission, or liability on LOKTV without prior written consent.
17. Changes to the Service or Agreement
LOKTV may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time, including interface elements, supported devices, content categories, membership features, technical requirements, and operational policies. We may also revise this Agreement to reflect service changes, legal developments, platform requirements, security needs, or business adjustments.
When changes are material, we will provide notice through reasonable means, such as in-app notice, updated effective date, support page, or marketplace listing where appropriate. Your continued use of LOKTV after the updated Agreement becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service and manage any active subscription through the applicable platform.
18. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by general principles of commercial law and applicable laws, without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would require application of another jurisdiction's law. Where mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction apply and cannot be contractually waived, such mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact LOKTV at quanttvsupports@163.com and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally. The notice should include your name, account identifier if applicable, a description of the issue, relevant transaction information, and the relief requested. LOKTV will use commercially reasonable efforts to respond within a reasonable period.
19. Severability, Assignment, and Entire Agreement
If any provision of this Agreement is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. LOKTV's failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or any other right.
You may not assign or transfer this Agreement or your rights or obligations without prior written consent from LOKTV. LOKTV may assign this Agreement in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, asset transfer, service restructuring, or operation of law. This Agreement, together with referenced policies and subscription disclosures, constitutes the entire agreement between you and LOKTV regarding the service.
